I have always had the goal to work to make the world a better place. Starting my professional experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras, I found a passion for international community development that has continued throughout my career. I lived and worked for years in Belize and Peru as the Country Director and Regional Director – Latin America, respectively, for ProWorld Service Corps. After supervising an AmeriCorps program in the United States, and receiving a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy from Norwich University, I continued to follow my calling by joining Partners In Health as the Grants Manager. While with Partners In Health, I helped manage grant-funded programs in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Russia, Malawi, Rwanda, and Lesotho.
Rekindling a life-long love for the natural environment, and recognizing the opportunity to make a true impact on the global climate change challenge, I happily joined the RTT team in August of 2013. Building from my reforestation experiences in Honduras and Peru, I help grow and expand the RTT model. When not contemplating the development of tropical forests, I can be found in my kayak with a fishing rod, hiking, or playing the guitar.
